Sustainability has gained great importance in recent decades as we continue to see the negative impacts of climate change on our planet. Many organizations and individuals have started to embrace and promote sustainable development guidelines and they strive to decarbonize our world to protect the ecosystem for the sake of our next generations.
It was on September 25, 2015 that the United Nations General Assembly and all 193 member countries for sustainable development set up the Agenda 2023.
The Agenda is a plan of action for people, planet and prosperity. All countries and stakeholders are supposed to collaborate to implement the plan.
At our organization, we aim at taking transformative steps to change the world into a sustainable one. We launch projects that consider any of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
We believe that in a sustainable environment the natural resources are used in a way that the needs of the present generation are met without putting the needs of the future generation at risk. In a sustainable environment there is always a balance between economic growth, social progress and environmental protection.
To our team, sustaining the environment does not only involve preserving biodiversity, reducing waste and pollution and protecting the environment. It should also involve promoting the well-being of the people. Everyone in the world, regardless of gender, race, nationality and socioeconomic status, should have the equal right to benefit from a sustainable environment in which social justice and equitable access to resources and opportunities are observed.
In order to achieve a sustainable environment, we are convinced that there should be positive changes not only in technologies but also in policies and behaviours.
